Devil Mine by Khai Hara (Author)

Our eyes meet across a sea of people in a crowded club and the effect of his gaze is immediate. Broad shoulders, piercing eyes, an intense aura emanating from him, he’s nothing like any man I’ve ever seen and he makes me feel things I never have before.

When I attend an event a week later and see him there, I’m determined to find out who he is.

I get more than I bargained for when I witness him execute a man.

Turns out the handsome stranger from the club is the head of the most powerful drug cartel in England. And once he sees me, he’s as determined to have me as I am to evade him.

I refuse to be sold, to be given away as payment for my father’s gambling debts, to suffer the same fate as my mother.

So I run away.

But Thiago ‘El Diablo’ da Silva has decided he wants me and what the devil wants, he gets.

And he won’t stop until he’s found me and made me his.

This is a mature, dark cartel romance with a sometimes very irredeemable jealous/possessive hero with extreme proclivities towards violence. It contains situations that some readers might find offensive.
